20220517 SQUARE NATURE part2

Azulejo Gallery will host SUPERPOSITION's "SQUARE NATURE PART2_Summer" from May 17 to June 7.
  
SUPERPOSITION means that the two waves are overlapped without losing their unique properties, and product designer Seo Jung-sun and graphic designer Kim Jong-min meet to plan and produce furniture, props, and frames with a unique concept. Among them, the names of DOZA, BYEONGPUNG, and SOBAN series remind you of the old Korean craftsmanship, but the actual work created by SUPERPOSITION's reinterpretation of classical roots and restrained modern images, or the East and West meet to create another synergy.
  
DOZA

Although it uses the most engineering materials and processing methods, it is a ceramic-type object made of 1mm

thick and solid stainless steel in the form of the most Korean image.
  
SOBAN

Soban is a living furniture that shows a cross-section of Korea's sedentary life in the past, and unlike other households, Soban wants to experience hidden values that we have not thought of by looking for the past that we have forgotten.
  
HANOK

Hanok is a chair made with the motif of traditional hanok and reinterpreted according to the lifestyle of modern people. The curves of hanok are placed inside the space composed of straight lines to be solved into living furniture suitable for modern residential life.
  
MAGO

It is hoped to lower the entry barrier to cars by developing a modern tea ceremony that abbreviates the numerous processes that have to go through before the car is made into a single process.
  
BYEONGPUNG

It is a folding screen series that combines Korean motifs and objects of superposition with digital art in graphics. The three-dimensional images change subtly depending on the angle, capturing the eye and making the space special for a long time.
  
DIGITAL JAGAE

It was produced by applying graphics to a self-made ceramic circular plate, paying attention to the common behavior of reality and digital in the mixing of virtual and reality and the expression method of lacquerware using shells. It is a ceramic object and occupies space for the same purpose as the picture.

아줄레주 갤러리는 SUPERPOSITION의 <SQUARE NATURE Part2_여름>을 5월17일부터 6월 7일까지 개최한다.
  
SUPERPOSITION은 두 개의 파동이 각각의 고유한 성질을 잃지 않고 중첩된 것을 의미하며, 제품 디자이너 서정선과 그래픽디자이너 김종민이 만나 유일무이한 컨셉의 가구, 소품, 액자 등을 기획하고 제작한다. 이 중 도자, 병풍, 소반시리즈와 같이 이름만 들으면 옛 한국의 공예품 형태가 언뜻 떠오르지만, SUPERPOSITION 이 재해석해서 만들어낸 실제 작품은 고전뿌리와 절제된 현대적인 이미지, 혹은 동양과 서양이 만나 또 다른 시너지 효과를 일으킨다.
  
이번에 선보이는 <SQUARE NATURE Part2_여름> 시리즈는 SQUARE NATURE의 연장선으로 계절을 담아 기존의 오브제들 이외에도, 소소한 이야기와 자연을 담은 신제품도 같이 선보인다. 새로운 제품들은 소반의 형태를 유지하지만, 아크릴 소재로 이용하여 현대적 쓰임을 반영한 Serif TV 거치대, 디지털 자개와 아크릴 소재를 새롭게 조화시킨 이야기를 담은 캐비닛, 마치 끓는 여름 산을 닮은 디지털 자개 파티션을 소개한다.
  
DOZA

가장 이공적인 소재와 가공법을 사용했지만, 가장 한국적 이미지에 가까운 형태로 두께 1mm와 견고한 스테인리스 스틸로 만든 도자기형태의 오브제다.
  
SOBAN

소반은 과거 한국의 좌식생활의 단면을 잘 보여주는 생활가구로 다른 가구와 달리 모든 계층에서 널리 사용되던 필수품으로 soban은 우리가 잊고 있던 과거의 모습을 찾아보는 작업으로 우리가 생각하지 못한 숨겨진 가치를 함께 경험해 보고자 한다.
  
HANOK

한옥은 전통한옥을 모티브로 제작된 의자로 현대인의 생활방식에 맞게 재해석하였다. 직선으로 구성된 공간 내부에 한옥의 곡선을 얹어 현대 주거생활에 알맞은 생활 가구로 풀어간다.
  
MAGO

차가 만들어지기까지 거쳐야 하는 수많은 과정을 하나의 과정으로 축약한 현대식 다기를 개발하여 차에 대한 진입장벽을 낮추기를 희망한다.
  
BYEONGPUNG

한국적인 모티브와 슈퍼포지션의 오브젝트를 그래픽으로 디지털 아트를 접목하여 제작된 병풍시리즈다. 입체적인 이미지들은 각도에 따라 은은하게 변하여 시선을 사로잡고 오랜 시간 공간을 특별하게 한다.
  
DIGITAL JAGAE

가상과 현실의 섞이는 곳에서 현실과 디지털의 공통의 행위와 조개껍데기를 이용한 나전칠기의 표현 방식에 주목하여 자체 제작된 세라믹 원형 판에 그래픽을 입혀 제작되었다. 세라믹 오브제이며 그림과 같은 목적으로 공간을 차지한다.
  
STORY OF YOUR LIFE

인류가 다음 인류에게 전해주는 메세지는 해체되고 재조립 되는 것을 반복하며 '시대의 언어'로서 우리의 유산이 되어왔다. 보편적인 주제를 담은 시대의 언어들이 어떻게 변형되고 전달되는지 이제 우리는 다음주자를 위해 시대의 파편을 가지고 달린다.
