Yang Dongyoung draws inspiration from street culture, including tattoos, graffiti, and skateboarding, and channels it into creating unique, expressive characters.

These characters are transformed with textures inspired by subcultures like B-grade comics, underground music, and vintage collectibles, bringing them to life within digital screens.

The final creations serve as imperfect symbols, evoking a sense of nostalgia and drawing the viewer’s consciousness toward the past.

양동영은 타투, 그래피티, 스케이티보딩과 같은 길거리문화 속에서 얻은 영감을 자유롭게 개성을 가진 캐릭터로 표현한다.

창조된 캐릭터는 모니터 속에서 B급 만화, 언더그라운드 음악, 빈티지 수집품과 같은 하위문화에 영향을 받은 텍스쳐로 변주된다.

이렇게 완성된 캐릭터는 불완전한 심볼로서 기능하며 의식을 과거에 어딘가로 흐르게 한다.
