The overlapped matériel presented in this exhibition embodies a semantic exploration of the artist's spiritual foundation, the philosophical contemplation of impermanence (Buddhist term: ่ซธ่กŒ็„กๅธธ), alongside an expanded temporality from past perspectives to the present.


Encountering the figurative forms embedded as allegorical sculptural language, scenes cherished like passing panoramas fill the heart with a serene breath. Memories such as a luminous night under magnolia trees, old letters and faded black-and-white photos, small birds, and camellia flowers frozen in white snow, though seemingly ordinary, linger long in memory. The artist brings forth these moments, weaving them together to narrate their preciousness. Just as appreciating nuances of language goes beyond mere comprehension of printed words when reading poetry, the 22 works similarly resonate differently along life's trajectory, acquiring new identities through personal interpretations.


The artist liberates from genre constraints, proposing the use of mixed media and offering new interpretations of space perception. In their work, fibers transcend practicality to become elements connecting past and present temporalities through the act of weaving, rather than products of mass production, thereby embodying an innovative conceptual dimension. This artistic process overlaps with objects and textile elements, manifesting as a composite art form transcending flat dimensions. Narrative works imbued with autobiographical stories achieve organic harmony through diverse mixed materials, evoking thoughts of architectural connections.


The flow of time continues like a river, where even as normative words and forms conventionally termed memories dissolve, warm images linger in the mind, sustaining us. Ultimately, the artist's work opens the drawer of their unique inner self, displaying edited memories sifted through the sieve of time. Still speaking with a luminous gaze, the artist explores existential implications, encompassing spaces, objects, and even people, amidst life's imperfect transformations. Within this context, they inquire what we truly wish to cherish in this moment of constant change and incompleteness.
