In this exhibition, you can see paintings by Kang Joonyoung, Gary Komarin, and Choi Jooyeol, as well as ceramic objects and tableware by Night Fruity, Moon Hyejoo, Park Yerim, Park Hwiwon, and Sin dain, as well as glassware and utensils by Seo Jihye and Yang Yuwan. Just as one piece gathers to form one large piece, this exhibition, "ONE-PIECE," focuses on the resonance of the works of those who deal with different physical meterials. Through the exhibition "ONE-PIECE", I hope you can experience both the daily life of art and the aesthetic pleasure that is the pure essence of art.

Moon Hyejoo
Moon Hye-ju chooses an empty chair as a still object that guards humans, and creates a symbolic body by stacking and reproducing white dirt again. Through the Human Scale chair, the artist wants to talk about the contradiction of recording and deletion, and even the existence and absence at the same time.

JHU
Choi Joo-yeol is a visual artist who expresses the inner story between media art and painting. The artist continues to experiment with art endlessly, immersed in the joy of painting and visual images. Among them, "Seoul Series," which was introduced this time, is a series of works drawn with colored pencils or pencils, reconstructed on the screen using the artist's own formative language. They're all part of a sketchbook that the artist has completed every day, and it's irrelevant to look at themselves as a picture diary. Choi Joo-yeol says that art implements things that cannot be delivered even by an elaborate system of language. His paintings seem to embody melancholy on the screen, which is called an indescribable emotion. I hope you can feel the world of JHU's unique charm.

Yang Yuan
Yang Yu-wan is a glass artist who makes glass objects and tableware with blowing techniques. The artist's glass has a completely different taste from the standard ready-made glass products. Because the glass that he made is organic and free, breaking away from the stereotype. Yang Yu-wan's unstructured glass products, which sparkle in the light, delight users' eyes and hands as beautiful objects beyond the value of use. His brand, Mowaniglas, has the meaning of "various glass" and pursues harmony between tradition and modern, transparent and opaque, and conflicting branches of the East and the West. Park Yerim
Park Ye-rim explores and reinterprets the shape of objects and expresses them as the main material. The name of the writer's first project is 'Body piece'. From the hands to the arms to the legs, the inspired forms of the body are happily unraveled with objects and tableware. His Bodypiece series is a craft that captures only the fundamental characteristics of the visible object as a formative element, located on the border between art and everyday life. The Waving long arm cup is a cup with a long curved handle, a humorous bowl that brings the image from the body with long arms bent. It has a good grip, so it's also suitable for holding and using it in your hand. It's good to drink with drinks such as coffee or juice, and it's good to eat with thick desserts such as yogurt or mousse cake. Now that everything familiar with the Pendemic has become unfamiliar and unfamiliar. I recommend creating a small crack in my boring daily life through Park Ye-rim's "Stranger Bowl."

Seo Jihye
Seo Ji-hye makes glass objects with a blowing technique. However, unlike the glitter of ordinary glass media, the surface is polished by hand to create a calm and warm glass. Also, the subtle differences in jokes on the surface that are revealed by the amount of color glass used complete his work with a window that leads to quiet contemplation beyond just objects. The semi-transparent glass stills in shades that are close to monotone clearly reveal the nature of light and form, so the perfumer becomes more immersed in the senses. 본 전시에서는 강준영, 게리 코마린, 최주열의 회화작품과 나이트프루티, 문혜주, 박예림, 박휘원, 신다인의 세라믹 오브제 및 식기 그리고 서지혜, 양유완 작가의 유리 화기 및 식기들을 만나실 수 있습니다. 한 개의 조각들이 모여 하나의 큰 조각을 이루듯, 이번 전시 <ONE-PIECE>는 각기 다른 물성을 다루는 이들의 작품이 공명하는 지점에 주목하고자 합니다. 이번 <ONE-PIECE>전을 통해 예술의 일상성과 미술의 순수한 본질인 미적 쾌감을 동시에 느껴보시길 바랍니다.

문혜주
문혜주는 인간을 유비하는 정물로서 빈 의자를 선택하며, 이를 다시 백색의 흙가래를 쌓아올려 재현함으로써 상징화된 몸을 만듭니다. 작가는 휴먼스케일인 의자를 통해 기록과 삭제의 모순, 나아가 존재와 부재를 동시에 이야기하고자 합니다.

최주열
최주열은 내면적 이야기를 미디어아트와 페인팅을 오가며 표현하는 비주얼 아티스트입니다. 작가는 그리는 행위와 시각적 이미지에서 비롯되는 즐거움에 몰두하며 예술실험을 끝없이 이어나갑니다. 그 중 이번에 선보인 <서울 Series>는 색연필 혹은 연필로 드로잉한 작품들로서, 일상에서 스친 유쾌한 아이디어들을 작가만의 조형언어를 사용하여 화면 위에 재구성한 연작입니다. 이 작업물들은 모두 작가가 스케치북에 매일 한 장씩 완성한 드로잉의 일부이며, 이것 자체를 하나의 그림일기로 바라봐도 무관합니다. 최주열 작가는 언어라는 정교한 시스템으로도 전달할 수 없는 것들을 예술이 실행시켜 준다고 합니다. 그의 작품들은 이유를 알 수 없고, 형언할 수 없는 감정이라 일컫는 멜랑꼴리를 화면 위에 구현하고 있는 듯 합니다. 독특한 매력이 존재하는 최주열JHU의 작업세계를 느껴보시길 바랍니다.

양유완
양유완은 블로잉 기법으로 유리 오브제 및 식기를 만드는 글래스 아티스트입니다. 작가의 유리는 반듯한 기성 유리 제품들과는 전혀 다른 미감을 가지고 있습니다. 그가 만든 글래스들은 정형적인 형태를 탈피하여 유기적이며 자유로운 형태를 가지고 있기 때문이죠. 빛을 받아 반짝이는 양유완 작가의 비정형의 유리 제품들은 쓰임의 가치를 넘어 아름다운 오브제로서 사용자의 눈과 손을 즐겁게 합니다. 그가 운영하는 브랜드 모(某)와니글라스(Mowaniglass) 는 ‘다양한 유리＇라는 뜻을 품고 있으며 전통과 현대, 투명과 불투명, 동양과 서양이라는 상반되는 지점들의 조화를 추구합니다. 특별한 날, 모와니 글래스의 그릇 혹은 오브제들로 기억에 남는 한 끼를 만들어보시길 바랍니다.

박예림
박예림은 물체의 형태를 탐구하고 재해석하여 이를 흙을 주재료로 표현합니다. 작가의 첫 번째 프로젝트의 이름은 ’Body piece‘입니다. 손부터 팔, 다리 등 몸에서 영감받은 형태를 오브제와 식기로 유쾌하게 풀어나가고 있죠. 그의 Body piece 시리즈는 눈에 보이는 사물의 외형에서 근원적인 특징만 조형 요소로 포착하는 공예품으로서, 예술과 일상의 경계에 위치합니다. Waving long arm cup은 손잡이가 길게 굽어진 컵으로, 긴 팔을 구부린 신체에서 그 이미지를 가져온 유머러스한 그릇입니다. 그립감이 좋아서 손에 들고 사용하기에도 적격입니다. 커피나 주스 등의 음료를 담아 마셔도 그만이고, 요거트나 무스 케이크 등의 되직한 디저트를 담아 먹기에도 좋습니다. 펜데믹으로 인해 익숙했던 모든 것들이 낯설게, 낯선 것들이 익숙하게 변모한 지금. 박예림 작가의 '낯선 그릇'을 통해 지루한 나의 일상에 작은 균열을 만들어 보시는 걸 추천합니다.

서지혜
서지혜는 블로잉 기법으로 유리 오브제를 제작합니다. 다만, 일반적인 유리 매체의 반짝거림과는 달리 표면을 직접 손으로 연마하여 차분하고 따스한 느낌의 유리를 만듭니다. 또한, 색유리의 사용량에 따라 드러나는 표면의 미묘한 농담 차이는 그의 작품을 단순한 오브제를 넘어 고요한 사색을 이끌어내는 창으로 완성합니다. 모노톤에 가까운 색조의 반투명한 유리 정물들은 빛과 형태의 본질을 극명하게 드러내기에 향유자는 감각에 더욱 몰두하게 됩니다. 해가 긴 오후, 서지혜 작가의 섬세한 미감이 돋보이는 유리 오브제로 방 안의 무드를 바꿔보시길 바랍니다.
